Pound for Pound Strength Challenge Friendly Reminder

Guys/Gals, if you are going to sign up for the April 13th Pound for Pound Challenge, please note the following requirements….they have been listed since the beginning…
Men – Must be able to Benchpress AND Backsquat your own Bodyweight for at least 1 rep.  That is to say, if you weigh 190lbs, you must be able to bench or squat that weight.  If you weigh 193lbs, you will scale up to 195 etc….You must also be able to do 1 Unassisted Pull-up.
Women – Must be able to Backsquat their own Bodyweight and Benchpress 75% of their Bodyweight for at least 1 rep.  You must also be able to do 1 Unassisted Pull-up.  For example, if you weigh 132lbs, you must Squat 135 and Bench 99lbs at least once to continue.
All Athletes will be weighed the morning of the Competition!!!!
If you are unable to meet these requirements, your participation will be very short in the Competition…
There is an 0830AM Class that Saturday for those not Competing in the Strength Competition.
AllSport will be hosting a quiet friendly “Pound for Pound Strength Challenge” on April 13th Saturday from 0930 AM to Noon…Registration fee is nothing more than a smile and maybe a case of beer….
We will be holding the competition among our gym members and a few outside friendly competitors so we would like to invite you guys to attend.
Format will remain secret for now but will strictly follow a bodyweight formula over the course of 5 events to determine who the strongest pound for pound….afterwards, let’s crack a beer and maybe walk down to El Tiempo for some fajitas and margaritas….Prizes will be paltry and insignificant….Bragging rights rule!
It’s a free competition and you must be signed up online to compete. Please get registered as soon as possible so we know who’s coming!
