5th Gear CrossFit is hosting the #4# Challenge 2016. Registration is $75 and you will receive a T-shirt.
This is such a FUN challenge and we had some Mini-MONSTERS show up in 2014!!!! Think of this as like a Mini Bro Sesh, where you’ll gather in groups of those that lift around the same as you. You’ll be able to cheer each other on and have some fun with this!
#4# Challenge is a Bodyweight-based Competition where everyone will pull their own load. You will be weighed the day of the competition and your scores will be calculated with your weight factored in. If you are one of those exceptional guys that may not weigh much, but can Bench, Deadlift, and BackSquat a ton OR if you’re just a BEAST and Bench, Deadlift, and BackSquat a ton, this is for you! It’s all based on your weight!!!!!!
Little guys, Big guys, EVERYONE is the same. Can you push, pull squat and deadlift your bodyweight more than the next guy? There will also be a WOD in addition to the lifts.

Events from 2012 (This will not necessarily be the events for 2016)
The Events
After Weigh In
1. Deadlift 1 rep max
2. Max rep Bodyweight Back squat – 3 minutes
3. Max rep Bodyweight (Women – 75%) Bench press – 2 minutes
4. Max Pull-ups (Kipping or otherwise)
5. Top Two Ladies and Top 4 Men Short WOD
7 minute AMRAP
1 Sled Push with Bodyweight Loaded, 4 Squat Cleans at 75% Bodyweight
Score is total reps, Sled Push counts as 1 Rep Only
