12 October 2013 – “Barbells for Boobs”

B4B

Welcome to my Fundraising Page!

PLEASE help me support Barbells for Boobs by making a donation. The process is fast, easy, and secure. I truly appreciate any support you can provide. It will benefit a great cause!

As many of you know, my husband David went through Cancer in 2007-2009.  It was a terrible couple of years filled with chemotherapy and radiation, and 5 extensive surgeries total. It was also filled with ABSOLUTE JOY as we were able to have two beautiful and healthy children during that tumultuous time!  Had David been screened earlier for his type of Cancer, we may have been able to catch it sooner. That’s why Barbell for Boobs is such an amazing cause!

One absolute risk you may see is the lifetime risk of breast cancer. Women in the United States have a “1 in 8” (or about 12 percent) lifetime risk of getting breast cancer. This means that for every eight women in the U.S. who live to be age 85, one will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. Barbell for Boobs Goal: to provide funding to breast centers globally through our Mammograms In Action ® Grant Program as a “last resort” resource for thousands of people who do not qualify for government funding or other charitable resources. Funding for screenings and diagnostic procedures is not only a necessity, but really does SAVE LIVES.

Take action with me and let’s band together for this amazing cause!

SAVE THE BOOBIES!!!

Hugs and Deadlifts,

Coach Susie
